The Gaggia Titanium is a very classy and beautifully designed super automatic espresso machine. I remember when I was serving some guests during a party and almost ALL of them were attracted by this shiny new thing on my kitchen counter. Almost half of them guessed that it was an espresso machine while others can’t just figure what it was until they got closer. Well, obviously all of them had a taste of almost every imaginable coffee beverage possible with this super automatic espresso machine. One of their favourites was espresso and of course the other few favourites include cappuccino and lattes.

Let me take you on a crash course on what to expect with the Gaggia Titanium.
Great Features To Expect
Really Shiny Exterior
As some of you might have alread guessed it, the Gaggia Titanium is encased in a stainless steel housing. This gives it that really cool professional looking appearance on the outside. It will certainly attract attention!
Intuitive LCD Panel and Programmable Options
Basically, the LCD screen is the control panel that controls the entire espresso machine, so if the LCD panel malfunctions, you would be in pretty serious trouble unless you know what the push buttons are for already. I can assure you that the chances of it malfunctioning is pretty rare as there is a lot of quality built into it.
From the LCD screen, you can do things like temperature control, adjust your coffee volume, adding beans or water, decalcifying schedule and a whole lot of other things. You won’t be able to control brewing from the LCD screen but instead use the buttons on the front to do that.You can program cleaning, coffee volume all through, timer clock all through the cobalt blue LCD screen. As for temperature settings, you can choose between 5 different temperatures for your coffee. If you like your coffee real hot, then just set it to maximum temperature 
There are approximately 7 buttons on the front panel that allow you to start grinding your coffee beans and brew it with great ease. If you know how to read then you can use the buttons easily. The great thing about this espresso machine is that it brews really quick thanks to its 2 boilers. One boiler is for steaming while the other is for brewing so you do this in just about 35 seconds. You will definitely impress your guests with the speed of the Gaggia Titanium.
Pre-Infusion and the Conical Burr Grinder
The coffee pre-infusion feature is one of the best features of the Gaggia Titanium. Basically, what this feature does is moistens the coffee grounds for about 2 seconds and then allowing the aromatic oils to go into the brew so that you can get the maximum extraction of flavour. This certainly makes a difference compared to espresso machines that don’t have this feature.
The conical burr grinder is another plus point for the Gaggia Titanium. Getting freshly brewed coffee from grounded coffee beans ensures the freshest brewed coffee while retaining its maximum flavour. So, even if you don’t have any barista skills, this two features alone can help you compensate for that.
If you are wondering where to store the coffee grounds, this espresso machine has a bean container to accommodate that.
I was actually very surprised to find the even the burr grinder has 18 different settings to accommodate different grind levels. Hence, you will get a tremendous range of different flavoured coffee flavour by just playing around with it. I’m a person who prefers a fine grind but not super fine.
Frothing – Turbo Frother / Automatic Frothing Attachment
Even if you are a total newbie in frothing, the Turbo frother makes frothing really easy. The automatic frothing attachment drops pre-froth milk which is another feature unheard of in most cheaper espresso machines. You will certainly love both these features.
Swivel Base – PLUS A lot of removable parts for Maintenance
The Gaggia Titanium Swivel base allows you to do easy and quick maintenance. You no longer have to figure out how to remove the brew group or remove the drip tray; not like removing them is too difficult but certainly Gaggia has made this a lot easier. Everything from the
- Water Reservoir
- Drip Tray
- Dump Tray
- Brew Group
can be removed for cleaning and maintenance.
Even if you don’t do this, it will tell you when to decalcify your machine through the LCD panel.
